"This isn't it." Koenma said examining the necklace from around Ayames neck. "Its a piece of it."

"How could it be a piece of it? Its perfectly rounded." Kagami asked.

"Some one must have broke it up and smoothed it. But this piece alone can do terrible things." Koenma said.

"But look at Ayameshes fine." Botan said.

"You dont understand. It doesnt take over a mindit brings out any evil that a person is resisting. Obviously Ayame has a pure heart." Koenma explained.

"So thats good. So people like Ayame are the only ones that can touch it." Kuwabara said. "Well dont let Hiei have it."

"Shut up dumb ass!" Hiei exclaimed.

"Ayame now has great powers. If she uses them right she can destroy this planet." Koenma said. "You have to hold on to this with your life Ayame."

Ayame nodded clutching the necklace in her hand. "I will never give it up." She said. Not only because of the power. She thought.

"So now what do we do? There can very well be millions of these things." Yusuke said.

"Yes, but with that one piece Ayame can find any within a hundred mile radius." Koenma said.

"How can I do that?" Ayame asked still holding her necklace.

"Focus. Youll figure it out in time." Koenma said. "Until then you all have to keep searchingbut Botan, you stay here."

Botan nodded and watched as the Rei Kai Tentai gang left.

Ayame rocked her head back and forth lip-singing her absolute favorite song from Slipknot, Scum of the Earth. She had gotten new batteries from Keiko when Yusuke went to check in with her. This time she brought a whole package full of them

Keiko had let Yusuke go for an extra day. So he now has three till he has to check in.

Yukina had decided to stay behind with Botan and help her gather some information and promised she would be back with them shortly. Her healing ability can really come in handy.

Hiei had been thinking as they walked along the grassy plains about Ayame and how she had been acting. He rested sure that she did really like him, but wasnt sure what to make of it. "What are you listening to?" He asked Ayame.

Ayame had just skipped through the next song and could hear him. "Slipknotwanna listen?" She asked him holding out the earphones.

Hiei took them and studied them before putting them up to his ears. All he could hear was a fuzzy sound before something blasted in his ear. He drew the earphone away quickly and stuck a finger in his ear as if cleaning it out. Now all he could hear was ringing.

"Sorry. Ill turn it down." Ayame said sheepishly. She watched Hiei put the earphones back by his ear.

"One more time and I'm gonna snap, one more time and I'm gonna snap, one more time and I'm gonna snap, one more time and I'm gonna snap."

Hiei took it away from his ear and handed it back to Ayame. "How can they talk so fast?" He asked rubbing his temples. "It gives me a headache."

"Theyre one of my favorite bands." Ayame said placing her CD player in her bag. "But they can give me a headache sometimes too."

Yusuke turned his head back at Ayame and Hiei. "Are you two together?" He asked.

Hieis face turned red as Ayames did. They started to fidget with their fingers and murmuring things to themselves.

"Is that a yes or dont know?" Yusuke asked impatiently.

"Neither!" Hiei exclaimed.

"Okay sure." Yusuke said rolling his eyes and turning back to where he was walking. He yawned and looked over at Kurama and Kagami how as usual was totally engrossed with each other that they had no clue with what was happening in the world around them.

Ayame looked around bored beyond belief. She was about to drag out her game-boy again when she started to feel a little funny. Something inside her told her to pick up the necklace. She took it off her neck and stopped walking. She started to move her hands farther and farther apart and watched as the dragon started to glow and float in thin air.

Yusuke turned back to see why no one was following him and saw Ayame. Her eyes were glowing a bright blue and the necklace was floating in between her hands that were spaced about a half a foot apart.

Hiei shielded his eyes as a bright light surrounded Ayame and waited for them to adjust. Finally the glowing had stopped and the dragons head was pointing to the west. He watched the necklace drop along with Ayame.

Ayame was on her knees and felt weak. She grabbed the necklace that was given to her and tried to stand up. She smiled up at Yusuke and Hiei who rushed and picked her up by each one of her arms. "Thanks." She said. But as soon as they let go she started to fall again.

"We have to carry her." Yusuke said after catching Ayame. "Her spirit energy is about drained."

"Now would be a good time for Yukina to be here." Kuwabara said as Yusuke lifted Ayame up on his back.

"Shes a lot lighter then I thought she would be." Yusuke said. "So I guess we go west."

Hiei nodded and watched Ayame mournfully. He wanted to help carry her but didnt want to ruin his reputation.

"Wouldnt it be better if Hiei carried her?" Kurama asked smiling over at Hieis surprised look. He knew his friend far to well not to know that he cared about Ayame.

"Why? Oh yeahbecause he loves her." Kuwabara said in a baby tone making a kissing sound.

Hieis anger flared and he ran after Kuwabara.

Kuwabaras eyes grew wide as he saw the killer look in Hieis eyes. He ran as fast as he could away from Hiei but wasnt getting to far.

Yusuke watched dumbfounded as Kuwabara ran passed him with Hiei gaining on him. He sighed and knew the only way to get Hiei to calm down was for him to beat Kuwabara into a pulp and the fastest way to do that is to get Kuwabara to stop running. He waited for Kuwabara to run past him before sticking out his foot and tripping him.

Kagami winced and turned her lips into an "o" shape as Hiei pounded Kuwabara into the ground.

Kurama was about to pull Hiei off of Kuwabara but Yusuke stopped him and shook his head.

"This is the best action Ive seen all day." Yusuke said.

Kurama rolled his eyes and sighed. He decided it was necessary for Hiei to get the anger out of his system now anyway.

Punching Kuwabara in the head one last time Hiei jumped up at walked up behind Yusuke. "Ill carry her." He said.

Kurama and Kagami had a big sweat drop fall down their head.

Hiei took Ayame in his arms and tossed her over his shoulder like a bag of potatoes.

"I'm still alive." Ayame laughed weakly.

"Yeah well wasting all your spirit energy like that you wont be for long." Hiei said as he walked over the unconscious Kuwabara.

Ayame woke up in the middle of the night freezing cold. She looked around at her sleeping comrades and stood up quietly. She decided to go for a walk and wait for dawn. She picked up her backpack and tossed it over her shoulder as she walked quietly off into the woods that lied straight ahead. As she entered the woods she felt like she was being watched. Looking around she jumped up into a tree and started jumping from tree to tree as fast as she could. Not knowing where she was going she stopped and was about to jump to the next tree but the branch she was on broke. Falling down to the ground she screamed at the top of her lungs. She fell on her butt and stood up rubbing it. "That hurt." She whined. She heard movement in the bushes behind her and turned around grabbing her Caster. "Whos there?" She asked e bit shaken. She heard a growl and something leap out of the bushes knocking her down.

"Where is it woman!"

Ayame opened her eyes to have a beast-like man over her. She screamed as he dug through her bag.

His ears where like a cats coming from atop his head. He had brown hair covering the sides of his face and yellow eyes that were only slits. "Shut up woman!" He growled slapping her face. He smiled as he yanked on the chain of the necklace breaking it off her neck. He held it by the chain examining it. He touched the pendent hanging from the chain had howled like a wolf in pain.

The dragon started to glow and the beast-like man flew backwards with a ray of spirit energy hitting his stomach. He dropped the necklace and held his stomach in pain.

Ayame dumbfounded by what happened, ran over to her necklace and picked it up from the ground. She grabbed her Caster and aimed it at the beast man that was holding his stomach where he was hit.

"Ayame?"

Ayame looked back to see Kurama and Hiei standing behind her. She turned back to have the beast like man gone. Her lip quivered and tears ran down her face. She fell to her knees and held her face in her hands.

"Ayame?" Hiei said walking over to her and kneeling down behind her. "What happened?"

"He was after my necklace." Ayame cried.

"Why are you cryingtheres nothing to be sad abouthes gone." Kurama said from the other sided of her.

"It hurts." She cried.

"What does?" Kurama asked placing a hand on her shoulder.

"I dont knowmymy soul." Ayame said breathing harder and faster. She crossed her hands over her stomach and started to breathe harder and harder. "Its burning."

Hiei laid her down on the ground and tried taking her hands away from her stomach. No matter how hard he tried she wouldnt stop breathing hard and wouldnt let go of her stomach.

Ayames eyes turned fire red and she started to switch.

Hiei backed away from her as she started to scream a horrid devil sound. She was holding her head moving back and forth. Her body stiffened and blood started to drain out of her mouth.

"Whats going on!" Kurama yelled over her screaming.

"I dont know!" Hiei yelled back. He tried walking towards Ayame but was hit by a wave of spirit energy sending him flying back into the approaching Yusuke. He climbed up off Yusuke weakly.

"What the hell is going on?" Yusuke asked he looked over at Ayame how looked as if she was going threw a great deal of pain. Her skin was now very pale and her vampire teeth started to grow twice as long.

"What the hell!" Kuwabara and Kagami yelled in unison.

Ayame rolled back and forth on the ground as she felt the pain of something messing with her spin. Something ripped through her lower back and she screamed louder.

Hiei watched in horror as Ayame started to grow a long golden furred tail. He swallowed hard as her hair turned a bright glowing gold and her eyes still a burning red.

Ayame stopped moving and lied on the cold grass limp. She shook her head and stood up. She looked at her arms and touched her face and started to laugh. "It worked!" She said in a heavier voice then her usual soft-spoken one.

"Ayame?" Kurama asked stepping towards her.

Ayame snapped her head to the side and snarled. "I am not Ayame! I am Tratsentana! Queen of the eighteenth dimension! The one you call Ayame is now gone and will never be back!" She yelled to Kurama.

"Ayameare you feeling alright?" Kuwabara asked walking towards her.

"I told you! I am not Ayame!" She yelled. She directed her hand in Kuwabaras face and he floated to her. She clenched her hand around his neck and laughed as he struggled. She tossed him into a tree and said, "I am Tratsentana!"

"What the hell happened to Ayame!" Hiei yelled drawing his katana in both hands.

"She is still here. Right inside this." She laughed holding out the necklace. "And there is no way to get her back!"

Hiei snarled and charged after her.

She laughed and threw her hand to the left and as she did Hiei was lifted up off the ground and threw to the side.

"What do you want!" Yusuke yelled.

"The same thing you want. I can rule the whole never world with the Dragon orb." She laughed. "And I advise you not to try and stop me."

Yusuke snarled and held out his finger. "Well how about you eat-." He was interrupted by her laugh. "What's so funny!"

"Your puny Spirit Gun wont effect me!" She laughed.

"Oh yeah!" He yelled still aiming.

"Yusuke dont! Your spirit energy alone is not enough to take her down. Cant you feel hers?" Kurama shouted. "We have no choice but to let her go for now."

"Bullshit." Hiei said weakly standing up and holding his arm. He had numerous cuts and bruises all over his body from hitting a tree. "I can take her.

"And what do you plain to do little man? Do you have a Spirit Gun too?" Tratsentana laughed. Her tail swung back and forth behind her as she floated up about a foot off the ground.

"No something better." Hiei said. He was about to take off the wrapping that was around his right arm before Kurama stopped him.

"Dont do it. Dont you see? By killing her youll surely kill Ayame." Kurama said.

"How?" Hiei asked impatiently.

"Maybe Ayames soul isn't in that body but she cant some back to it if its destroyed like Yusuke did." Kurama said.

Hieis eyes widened and he looked down to the ground. He snarled and stopped messing with his arm.

"There is nothing you can do puny humans!" Tratsentana said as she took off.

"What did she call me!" Hiei snarled.

"I guess she doesnt know everything about us." Kagami said. "That could be useful. She doesnt know about Hieis Black Dragon Attack or that any of us are Youkais."

Kurama looked up thoughtfully. "We have to go back to see Koenma." He said.

Kuwabara rubbed his head. "Its nice to know you cared about me!" He yelled as he winced.

Everyone turned to him and didnt say a word.

Who said I cared about him? Hiei thought.
