Hiei waited at the park for Ayame to show up. She had asked him on date whatever that was.

 Ayame had said it is where he takes her out to a place and pay for her.

 "She better show up. Its past sixshe said shed be here then." Hiei said rudely under his breath.

 "Hiei!" Ayame called as she walked over to him. She was wearing a black dress with a cut clear up her leg to her hip. She had her black hair in waves and in three ponytails behind a bandanna. She had red eye shadow on over her dark gas-flame blue eyes, with red lipstick.

 "About time you got here." Hiei said turning from her.

 "So where are we going?" Ayame asked.

 "You pick." Hiei said still not looking at her.

 Ayame thought for a second then smiled. "The fair. Theres all kinds of things we can do there!" She exclaimed grabbing Hieis arm and running to get a taxi.

 Ayame walked up to the ticket booth and asked for sixty tickets.

 "Thirty dollars." The lady in the booth said.

 Ayame handed her the money and took the card the lady handed her. She walked over to one of the games and smiled. "Want to try?" She asked pointing to the pellet gun lying on the counter of the booth.

 "What do I have to do?" Hiei grumbled.

 "Shoot the bottles all in one shot." Ayame said as if it was a simple task.

 The bottles were aligned in a row with a few stacked on top of them. You had to hit the right bottle to make them all fall.

 Hiei grabbed the gun and aimed for the middle bottle and shot it making all the bottles fall over like dominos.

 The owner of the booth gasp and snarled. He handed Hiei and large white teddy bear.

 "Whats the matter? I wasnt supposed to hit them all was I?" Hiei laughed at the man.

 Ayame started to giggle as Hiei turned around. "You took his only prize." She said with a hint of laughter.

 "It was an impossible shot, so I helped by knocking over a few with my own kind of bullet." Hiei said as he handed Ayame the teddy bear.

 Ayame smiled as she took the bear in her arms. She kissed Hiei lightly on the cheek and raced off towards the Ferris wheel.

 Hiei, shocked, slowly walked after her. He climbed up the ramp and watched as Ayame handed a man her card that the ticket booth lady had given her.

 The man slid the card through a slot on a hand held computer and typed in a two. He handed back the card and let Ayame and Hiei pass.

 Ayame climbed into the gondola and sat down on the right side of it. She set her bear down as Hiei climbed in and sat down next to her. She scooted as close to Hiei as she could as the Ferris wheel started.

 It stopped when they were at the top.

 Ayame looked out at all the lights and smiled. She turned to Hiei as he stood up and looked down at all the rides.

 "That one looks fast." Hiei said pointing down at the "Zipper" as he sat down.

 Ayame hooked her arm in Hieis and leaned her head on his shoulder. "Great view huh?" She asked looking at all the lights.

 "Its goodbut Ive seen better." Hiei said looking at the lights that seemed to be miles away.

 "Really?" Ayame said looking up at him.

 Just then the Ferris wheel started again and went back down to the ground. Hiei walked off with Ayame beside him.

 "Lets find some cotton candy." Ayame said as she started to walk over to the food booth. She bought the vanilla kind that was on a cone. Biting a piece off she offered some to Hiei.

 "What is it?" Hiei said scrunching up his nose.

 "Sugar. Just take some." Ayame said.

 Hiei bit off a piece and stuck his tongue out as it devolved in his mouth.

 "Dont panic, its supposed to do that." Ayame laughed.

 "It tastes like shit." Hiei said rubbing his tongue against the roof of his mouth as if it would get rid of the taste.

 "How would you know?" Ayame laughed.

 Before Hiei could answer Ayame grabbed his arm and took off towards another ride. He looked up and saw a big sign that said Tornado.

 "Lets go!" Ayame said handing a man her card for him to scan it. She climbed in one of the seats and buckled herself in.

 Hiei sat down in the seat next to Ayame and crossed his arms.

 "You have to buckle up." Ayame said as she patted the bar that was between her legs.

 Hiei raised his eyebrow but didnt move.

 Ayame sighed and started to pull up Hieis buckle when a Mexican girl came up and pulled it up for him, touching his leg gently.

 "Make sure you hold on." The Mexican girl said seductively as Ayame gave her an evil look. "It goes pretty fast."

 Ayame felt as if she was going to blow. I worked to hard for this dateto have some Mexican bimbo ruin it for me. She thought as she watched the girl walk over to the controls and start the ride.

 Hiei looked at Ayame who looked like she was pissed at someone. She didnt look like she wanted to be there.

 After the ridded stopped Ayame looked at the Mexican girl that came strolling over to Hiei.

 "Its nice of you to bring your sister here." The Mexican said to Hiei.

 Sister! Ayame screamed in her mind.

 "Hn. She is not my sister." Hiei grumbled as he pushed the bar back and jumped off the small step.

 Ayame did like wise and walked around to hook her arm in Hieis.

 "Oh well my name is Maria." The Mexican girl said snobbishly. "Would you like to go out some time?"

 "Hn. No." Hiei said walking off.

 Ayame flashed a fanged smirk to Maria before leaning her head on Hieis shoulder.

 Hiei looked down at her funny and was about to shake her off his arm when she started running again pulling him with her. "Now where are we going?" He said as she stopped at a booth. He looked at the man behind a counter and at the darts he held in his hand.

 "Five tickets a shot." The man said as he handed Ayame and Hiei a dart. "Unless you can hit the target in the middlethen its free plus the bonus prize."

 Hiei grunted and looked at the target no less then twenty feet away. He aimed carefully and tossed the dart into the bulls-eye with a flick of his wrist. "What's the prize?" He asked impatiently.

 The man grunted and handed Hiei a necklace with a dragon hanging from it. The dragon had bright red eyes and a black body and curled in its tail was a black marble.

 Ayame smiled at the necklace and tossed her dart as easily as Hiei did hitting the target.

 "I'm sorry, but that was the only prize I had. That necklace has been running this booth for a year and never has anyone hit the target." The man said.

 "Then give her something else!" Hiei demanded clenching the necklace in his hand with the chain hanging out through his fingers.

 The man had sweat drop appear. "Uhhere." He said handing Ayame a twenty-dollar bill.

 "Thank you." Ayame said as she took the money and stuffed it in her wallet.

 "Hn." Hiei grumbled as they walked away. He looked down at the necklace and started to feel funny. "Uh. How about dinner?" He said calmly. He scrunched up his nose and thought, What did I just saywas I being nice?

 Ayame turned to him looking at him as if he might have been sick; then a small smile graced her lips. "That would be lovely." She said.

 Hiei glared at the necklace as the eyes of the dragon started to glow an electric green color.

 "Come on." Ayame said.

 Hiei looked at the necklace one last time before stuffing it in his pocket.

 Ayame took a sip of her tequila and waited for Hiei to return.

 "Never thought Id see you in a place like this."

 Ayame snapped her head to the side and smiled at her friends Yusuke and Kuwabara. "What are you two doing here?" She said with a smile.

 "Seeing who is better at pool." Yusuke answered simply sitting down next to her.

 "What are you doing here?" Kuwabara asked sitting on the other side of Ayame.

 "Hiei and I are on a date." Ayame said.

 Kuwabaras face turned bright red and he started to laugh uncontrollably. "Hieion a date!" He exclaimed laughing even harder.

 "Where is he now?" Yusuke asked with a bit of laughter in his voice as well.

 "Right here." Hiei said as he approached them. "I had to check on someone."

 "Nice to see you in something other then those things you called clothes." Kuwabara laughed.

 Ayame looked at Hiei and noticed he was wearing a black pair of jeans and a black T-shirt for the first time.

 "You look nice too Ayame." Yusuke said grabbing her hand and kissing the top of it. "You look as if you belong at a ball."

 Ayame blushed and looked down at her clothes.

 "Besides the hairthats a new look. Real sexy." Yusuke added. "Well Keiko is going to be mad at me if I dont hurry home."

 "Ill beat you tomorrow Urameshi!" Kuwabara called after him. "Bye." He said walking off.

 "Uhthey were here to play pool." Ayame said. She took the last gulp of her drink. "Um can we stop by a store. I kind of feel overdressed."

 "Hn. Why not." Hiei said rolling eyes.

 Ayame pulled off the tags of a red mini-skirt and tank top. She slipped on a long nylon on each foot that went clear up her legs. She tore off the tags on some red heels and walked out of the fitting room. She watched as Hiei eyed her. She looked at the cashier and he was reading a magazine. She walked over to Hiei and started to walk towards the exit. "I cant believe the prices so Ill come back later after payday." She said aloud and walked out of the store with Hiei close behind her.

 "And when did you pay for those?" Hiei asked her as they walked down the street.

 "It isn't a crime if I'm not caught." Ayame said as she winked at a couple of teenagers that were starring at her.

 "Add this to the outfit." Hiei said taking the necklace. He looked at it and the eyes were once again red. He handed the necklace to her.

 Ayame gladly excepted the necklace and slipped it around her neck. "Its beautiful." She said picking it up from her chest. "Wasnt the marble black?"

 Hiei looked at her funny and saw that the marble was now a pale blue. "It must change colors from the lighting or something." He said as the eyes of the dragon turned the same color as Ayames.

 "Maybe." Ayame said letting it fall back to her chest. "Oh look a skating rink!"

 Hiei looked at the place across the street that Ayame was pointing too. He jogged after her and walked into the door that she opened for him. "Skating?" Hiei said in a disgusted voice.

 "Yes come on." Ayame said walking up to the counter.

 After getting on their skates Ayame grabbed Hieis hand and took off towards the floor. She let go of his hand and took off skating backwards. Once she went around she stopped near the wall the Hiei was leaning against. "Come on." She begged.

 "What is the fun in this?" Hiei asked.

 "I dont know. Good exercise." Ayame said grabbing his hand and pulling him out with her.

 Hiei almost fell backwards at the sudden movement but regained his balanced as others flew past them.

 "Okay!" The announcer called. "Its limbo time!"

 Ayame cheered with the rest of the people and watched as two kids brought out a poll. She skated around and right under the poll with ease. She skated back to where she thought she left Hiei. Looking around she noticed him going under the poll that was lowered to three feet. She smiled and went around again to go under the poll that was lowered to two feet. She flashed a "beat that" look to Hiei as he went around.

 Hiei went around and went under it. He thought for a moment a decided that once at one foot he would never make it unless on foot. He started to skate slower to let Ayame pass him. He watched as she almost made it but ended up falling on her back.

 Everyone cheered as Ayame laughed. She smiled as Hiei skated over to her and gazed down at her. "Didnt expect that to happen." She said as she sat up.

 "Hn. I could have made it." Hiei lied. He looked away from her and crossed his arms.

 Ayame flashed a fanged smirk and grabbed Hieis shirt trying to help her self up. She gasped as Hieis skates slipped and they both tumbled down to the slick cold floor.

 Hiei snarled and jumped up as Ayame started to laugh with everyone else that crowded around them.

 Ayame grabbed Hieis arm and this time made it all the way up. "You need to loosen up a bit." She said as everyone started to go on his or her way again.

 "Well go now. This place is starting to annoy me." Hiei said.

 Ayame laughed continuously as she watched Hiei gulp down his first scotch. She had had about ten beers and five scotches and was drunk beyond belief. "Damn. You never drank before?" She asked with slurred words.

 "Hn. I have no use for alcohol." Hiei said making a disgusted face. "It will get me no where."

 "Youre right. But it sure makes you feel good." Ayame said. She held her stomach and felt a little queasy. "I think I'm gonna vomit."

 "Not on me." Hiei said backing away from her.

 Ayame saw blurs and felt something turn in her stomach. She made a throaty sound before she vomited all over a man in the seat next to her.

 "Bitch!" The man yelled raising a hand.

 Hiei caught his fist and twisted his arm around. "What did you call her?" He snapped holding him against the counter and bending his arm back. He only heard grunts and saw from the corner of his eye someone coming towards him with a metal pole. He drew his hidden katana and held it against the man's neck.

 "Hiei. Let them go." Ayame said.

 Hiei grunted and let go of the man against the counter and put his katana back in its covering.

 "Get out of my bar." The owner said from behind the counter holding a shotgun.

 Ayame stopped Hiei from drawing his katana again and lead him out the door. "I guess the bar wasnt such a good idea." She said as she stumbled over her heals.

 Hiei caught her and set her back on her feat. "Dont be mad at me okay!" He demanded.

 "HieiI'm not mad." Ayame said. "I just dont feel very good."

 "Then I should take you home." Hiei said.

 "Theres a couple problems." Ayame said. "I rooming with Keiko and she's outand I dont have a key to the house."

 "Then where did you plan to go after date." Hiei asked.

 "I was planing on going to go to a hotel." Ayame said. "So I guess you can drop me off at the nearest one."

 Hiei nodded and started to walk ahead of Ayame.

 Ayame opened the door to her hotel room and turned on the light. She turned around to see Hiei with an eyebrow raised. "Something wrong?" She asked.

 "Hn. Do I have to stand out here?" Hiei asked crossing his arms.

 Ayame smirked and moved aside letting him in. She set her purse type bag down on the bed and pulled out her toothbrush. "Make yourself comfy." She said as she walked into the bathroom. She ran the water and put a little bit of toothpaste on her toothbrush.

 "What's so great about a place like this?" Hiei asked from the next room.

 "Nothing. Just a warm bed." Ayame said around her toothbrush. She rinsed off her toothbrush and rinsed out her mouth before setting her toothbrush back in its holder and setting it down on the counter.

 "What's so great about a bed?" He asked.

 "I dont know. But I know its a lot more comfortable then a tree." She laughed taking off her bandanna. She took out her earrings and walked back out of the bathroom.

 "Hn." Hiei grumbled. He looked around a snarled. "Its to hot in here."

 "Its a bit stuffy. Oh well." Ayame said. "I'm going to try and get a good nights rest and try to stay sober for awhile."

 Hiei nodded and walked to the door with Ayame right behind him. She opened the door and let him out. "See you later." She said.

 "Hn." Hiei grumbled. He was about to walk away when he felt a hand on his arm. He looked back at Ayame who pushed herself against him. Before he could ask any questions she pressed her lips to his and forced his mouth open.

 Ayame rolled her tongue around in his mouth tasting every corner. She could feel Hiei trying to tug away, but she didnt let him.

 Hiei felt Ayames tongue go to war with his. His eyes were wide open when she finally let him go. A blush crossed his face and he could feel it burn in his cheeks.

 "Good night." Ayame said softly shutting the door, leaving him to think about what happened. I did my part. Now its up to him to decide what to do. Ayame thought.
